Elizabeth A. Battle

Legislative Associate

Elizabeth A. Battle, Esquire joined the Palmetto Policy Group in December of 2009.

As a Legislative Associate, Battle will actively represent the firm's clients before the South Carolina General Assembly and state agencies as a registered lobbyist.

Battle is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Richland County Bar Association.

Prior to joining The Palmetto Policy Group, Battle was the Opinions Editor for South Carolina Lawyers Weekly. She also served as a law clerk for South Carolina Circuit Court Judge J.C. "Buddy" Nicholson, Jr. for the 10th Judicial Circuit.

Her political background includes serving as a Legislative Aide to Representative J. Cordell Maddox, Jr. and as a Senate Page for State Senator Greg Smith.

In 2000, Battle earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. In 1995, she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
