Sherry Street joined the Palmetto Policy Group in February 2005 as a contract lobbyist, and as an official staff member in July of 2005.

Prior to coming to South Carolina, she was president of Street & Associates, a government and public relations consulting firm located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Sherry served four years as education policy advisor to former Milwaukee Mayor John O. Norquist. In 1995, as a member of a small project team, she worked with the Wisconsin legislature to expand the school choice program to include religious schools. And, in 1997, the same project team worked to strengthen Wisconsin's charter school law.

Sherry also comes to TPPG with an extensive political background; as field director for Norquist's 1996 re-election bid, she organized over 600 campaign volunteers. She has been involved in numerous campaign and fundraising activities for state and local Democrats in Wisconsin.
